The designated person must:

Have a 12th grade certificate or equivalent.
Have a valid blasting certificate
Must have conventional mining experience
Be in possession of a valid first aid certificate
Be able to pass the practical test during the preselection.
Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills in English.
Be declared medically fit for work and the environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the appropriate Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Center.

Advantageous requirements:

Extensive work experience as a miner
Must have conventional mining experience.
Compliance with COP and legal requirements

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety of the employees under your control.
Assistance with blasting and cleaning operations
Ensure compliance with the guidelines, policies and procedures of the security standards.
