The Mr Price division is looking for a Store Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a store to ensure that overall goals, store objectives, innovation initiatives and customer service standards are met. and overwhelmed.
Make sure the stock is properly received and unpacked in the market and restock the sales floor.
Monitor and manage stock levels through defined processes (inventory, inventory, stock loss action plans, etc.) to mitigate risk (stock loss) and ensure adequate stock availability.
Oversee general warehouse maintenance to meet cleanliness standards.
Authorize penalties, breakages, withdrawals and returns.
Sales growth and profitability:
Analyze in-store sales and profitability reports to assist management with necessary operational action plans, increase sales performance, and monitor store expenses.
Review and track product performance in the store to provide support center feedback and improve sales.
Identify and propose new opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness. This may include: in-store marketing, competitor purchases, partnering / attending local events, and creating new accounts / memberships by goals (if applicable).
Perform compliance checks through defined processes (e.g. administrative checks, store audits, visual audits, AS reports (continuous monitoring), point of sale reports, health and safety standards, weekly hanger count, security, etc.) to ensure and enforce overall compliance with policies and procedures. .
Customer experience management:
Ensure and maintain the implementation of customer experience processes (by executing business instruction letters, discounts, price changes, promotions, customer experience plans, visual standards, customer feedback , general cleaning, etc.) to meet customer service standards.
Lead and animate the team within a store to achieve the KPIs and the operational strategy of the store in line with the values of the company.
Identify and manage training, coaching and development needs with a focus on talent management and succession planning.
Recruit, administer and manage performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure the implementation of Innovation initiatives from Headquarters (Mpos, MRP Empower and E-docs) to delight our customers and improve in-store processes more efficiently.
NQF level 4 (grade 12) or equivalent
Knowledge of sales and service management.
Business understanding of retail, brand, customer and product.
