The best learnership opportunity exists within Ampath to become a phlebotomy technician.
Ampath has a two-year learnership programme for phlebotomy technicians, where students will work with patients. Phlebotomy specialists are responsible for the collection of blood and non-blood types for pathology.
The training of classrooms was started in Centurion, Pretoria. Practical training will take place at any of the AMPATH depots in the Gauteng region. No accommodation or travel will be provided.
Candidates are expected to enter into a performance agreement with Ampath.
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
Knowledge of skills
Do you have a valid certificate to leave Grade 12 with English, Life Science (Biology) and Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy as subjects.
English at NQF level 3
Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy at NQF level 3
NQF Level 3 Health Sciences
Excellent communication skills in English.
Strong customer service forecasts.
All applicants must be prepared to undergo a psychological test.
Grant permission from students.
