The Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism is committed to supporting education and addressing skills shortages by offering scholarships in the subject area relevant to the department’s primary function.
The bursary scheme is for students who want to study full time and prefer the following fields of study:

BSc Heroes / Masters in Botany,
BSc Hunters / Masters in Aquatic / Earth Ecology,
LLB with a basic course in environmental law,
BCom / ND: Tourism Management,
ND: ecotourism,
ND: Food operations management,
BTech Tourism Management,
Bachelor / ND: Industrial Engineering.
ND / BEng Chemical Physical / Process Metallurgy,
Bachelor / ND in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering,
Bachelor of Local Economic Development and BCom / ND in Business Management / Entrepreneurship

What is this bursary covers?
The grant covers registration and tuition fees, accommodation and meals. To qualify for the bursary, the student must meet the minimum requirements for admission to a bachelor’s degree.
Application forms can be obtained from the head office, 19 Biccard Street, Evridiki Towers (Polokwane) and district offices of all departments such as Capricorn, Selchukhune, Mopani, Vhembe, Waterberg and the municipal multipurpose center, as well as the department’s website: www.ledet.gov.
